Hello hello! My, but it's been a long time since I've posted anything on here.

I can assure you, I am still alive.

So, how are you?

I'm sorry for not writing; I haven't written anything because...I don't know. I haven't really felt like it I guess. So nurrrr. Plus, YOU try writing something halfway interesting about your everyday life.

Term no.5 has ended and I am now on holiday for two weeks. This is a good thing. Lest I need to explain the term system at my school again: three months on, two weeks off. I hit what I am terming as a bit of a slump in the last third of the previous term, which might also explain my not writing. I honestly feel like a part of my brain has melted. Hopefully the break will restore my faculties somewhat.

The job search continues afoot. There are numerous possibilities that are somewhat too complex for me to explain with any degree of brevity (thanks to things like work visas and school fee refunds and whatnot). We will see. The fact that my currently planned finishing date of September is rapidly approaching is certainly not lost on me. Guh.

So, what have I done recently? Yesterday I visited the Asahi brewery in Nagoya with some friends to do the factory tour. Should any readers happen to be in the Nagoya area, I can highly recommend it. A cute tour guide shows you lots of spinning machinery, and then gives you free beer! Free I tells ya! Yet another example of something that would never work in the west but that seemingly works here.

Other than that...I've been watching a lot of Mystery Science Theater 3000 for some reason. I've re-arranged my room and am now sleeping on the floor. I've been reading a manga called 魔方陣グルグル. I've been eating and sleeping. I've done a lot of sweating. I hate summer. You can actually see the humidity.

I've been thinking about having the school take my bed and sleeping on the floor myself recently. How's that working out?
